NEW: Ground School, simulator prep time followed by subsequent full flight LPC check
This is offered as a complete hands on prep training! The payment is split in two, one for the fixed based and ground school, and the second payment for the LPC totaling £1600 (inc VAT) . The advantage of this type of course is to bring you up to speed prior to entering the full flight sim, to help avoid unnecessary full flight time (saving you money), and also making sure you are as prepared as possible prior to the actual LPC. Ground course run by our Airbus type rated S.F.I and LPC by Easy Jet Capt. TRE. Typical course structure for the ground school and fixed based training:
* 2 hours Ground School
* 3 hours fixed based A320 Simulator with SFI
* A full de-brief
* LPC with JAA/Examiner based at Gatwick/Heathrow
* Total cost: £1600 (inc VAT)
FIXED BASED PREP WORK:
- Basic Instrument Rating Skills including Holds, VOR tracking and QDM maintaining
- Airbus Abnormality TCAS / ECAM actions
- V1 - V2 ENGINE CUT and Emergency single ILS to land
- Single engine GO/AROUND and RAW DATA ILS to land
- VOR/NDB Approach to land with attention to CRM (briefings in Flight Deck)
